Docking stations

Cycle

A docking station is where you can pick up and drop off your bicycle. Each one has docking space for many bicycles.

All the docking stations will be in central London (roughly Zone 1 on a Tube map).

They will be self-service and for Cycle Hire bicycles only.

Number of docking stations and spaces

At first there will be about 400 docking stations. You'll never be far from one as they'll be every 300 metres or so.

All in all there will be about 10,200 docking spaces at the docking stations. With more spaces than cycles it will be easier for you to drop off your cycle at the docking station of your choice.

Don't worry about getting lost. Each docking station will have maps to help you find your way.
