You can pay the charge:
Online
You can pay online up to 90 days in advance, or on the day of travel or by midnight the next charging day.
If you've registered with us you can track all your charge payments online too.
By mobile text messaging (SMS)

You have to register for an account and you can only use mobile text messaging (SMS) to pay the charge on the day of travel.
- First register for an account online or by calling 0845 900 1234
- Once registered, call us on 0845 900 1234 to activate your mobile text payment service
- You'll always receive a confirmation text message to advise you when your payment has been successful

If you have registered with us you will be able to pay automatically by phone.
Just key in your customer number, PIN, and payment details on a telephone.
At a shop
You can pay the charge in cash at newsagents, convenience stores and petrol stations where you see the Congestion Charging sign or the epay logo.
You may be able to pay by cheque and credit or debit card at some shops.

By post
You can only pay by post if you're paying in advance. We must receive it 10 days before you travel.
Download, print and fill out the payment form then post it to the address on the form.
