Transforming the Piccadilly line

The Piccadilly line will get new trains, signalling and a new control centre.  Although work has yet to begin, planning for this major engineering project has already started.

The upgrade will improve reliability and increase capacity on the line by 24 per cent. Journey times will be cut by around 19 per cent.

The Piccadilly line extension to the new Heathrow Terminal 5 station opened in March 2008.

Acton Town, Alperton, Arnos Grove, Arsenal, Boston Manor, Bounds Green, Caledonian Road, Cockfosters, Covent Garden, Ealing Common, Eastcote, Gloucester Road, Heathrow T4, Holloway Road, Hounslow Central, Knightsbridge, Holborn, Hounslow West, Leicester Square, Manor House, North Ealing, Northfields, Oakwood, Osterley, Park Royal, Piccadilly Circus, Ruislip, Ruislip Manor, Russell Square, South Ealing, South Harrow, Southgate, Sudbury Hill, Sudbury Town, Turnpike Lane and Uxbridge.
