Responsible procurement means purchasing goods, works and services in a socially and environmentally responsible way that delivers value for money and benefits everyone involved in the process.
To reinforce our commitment, we are implementing the Greater London Authority's Responsible Procurement Policy, which promotes seven themes.
The seven themes:

- Promoting workforce welfare
- Meeting strategic labour needs and enabling training opportunities
- Promoting community benefits
- Encouraging ethical sourcing practices
- Promoting greater environmental sustainability
